Notes when choosing Shuttle Van Transfer

• Shuttle van transfers usually take 4-5 hours. However, the shared van transfer cannot guarantee a 4-5-hour trip because it will stop, pick up, and wait for other passengers.
• If you booked a shared van transfer online, always double-check if the package includes hotel or airport pickup. If pickup is not included, go to the El Nido bus terminal or Puerto Princesa Terminal (san jose terminal) via local tricycle because they will pick you up there.
• If you booked a private van transfer online, they usually pick you up from your preferred location or hotel and drop you off directly at your hotel. Make sure to indicate your pick-up and drop-off location when booking online.
• Shuttle vans are typically one-way trips. You will need to reserve another van if you wish to return.
• For shared van transfers, you may experience less legroom and space for luggage, which might be a concern for those with lots of gear or preferring more comfort. You can check the private minivan or bus option for comfort and wider legroom

When we went to El Nido and Puerto Princesa, there were 16 of us, so I booked two private shuttle vans to be picked up at 7 AM. There was a delay, but everything went smoothly; the trip took 5 hours, and they dropped us at an eatery for a quick breakfast.

There are two bus companies that offer bus transfers between El Nido and Puerto Princesa: Cherry Bus and Roro Bus.

• You can directly buy tickets at their designated office at El Nido bus terminal or Irawan Bus Terminal in Puerto Princesa.

Some agencies can arrange private cars at Puerto Princesa Airport but expect to pay 6k to 7k for a one-way private trip.
